Subzero Temperature Controller is a highly reliable digital thermostat widely used in commercial refrigeration, cold rooms, HVAC, and industrial processes to manage both heating and cooling. Renowned brands like Subzero (by PVR Controls) offer precise regulation with features like built-in defrosting, compressor protection, and sensor error management. Models & Applications SZ-7510T / SZ-7510P: A single-setpoint controller ideal for simple deep freezers, chillers, and display cabinets. It handles precise temperature management with an operating range typically between -45°C to 99°C. SZ-7569P: Features heavy-duty relays (up to 20 Amps) to drive compressor loads directly without needing external contactors, making it perfect for heavier single-phase commercial freezers. SZ-7524P / SZ-7515P: Advanced defrost controllers that use dual NTC probes to manage room temperature and evaporator coils, offering scheduled or manual defrosting and fan control. Key Features Compressor Delay: Prevents short-cycling by delaying compressor restart after a power outage or shutdown, extending equipment lifespan. Defrost Management: Automates time- or temperature-based defrost cycles to keep coils free of ice. Buzzer Alerts: Features built-in buzzers to warn if temperatures deviate from the setpoint. Parameter Settings: Allows easy adjustment of setpoints, temperature differentials, and heating/cooling modes. How to Adjust the Subzero SZ Series (Basic Operation) View Setpoint: Press and immediately release the "SET" key. The display will show the current target temperature.
